Japanese eBooks purchased from the BookWalker Japan Store (bookwalker.jp) will not be affected by the English/Global Store update.
Your Japanese eBooks will remain available on the Japan Store/ BookWalker Japan App, and you will continue to access and read them as usual.
Important points to note
– Japanese eBooks purchased on bookwalker.jp are not transferred to the English/Global Store (bookwalker.com).
– Your Library, account, Coins, deals, and purchase history are completely separate between the Japan Store and the English/Global Store.
– Japanese eBooks will not appear in your English/Global Store Library after migration.
– Likewise, English/Global Store purchases will not appear in your Japan Store Library.
How to continue reading your Japanese eBooks
– Sign in to the BookWalker Japan Store (bookwalker.jp) using your Japan Store account (e.g. your old account used on BookWalker Global until 3/27 before migration).
– Read your books using:
– The BookWalker Japan App, or
– The Japan Store’s Web Browser Viewer.
In short
– Your Japanese books are safe and unchanged.
– They stay on the Japan Store and are not migrated.
– The Japan Store and the English/Global Store operate as separate services.
