What’s the difference between pre-orders and Auto-buy?

Both Pre-order and Auto-buy let you get new releases without missing them, but they work in different ways.

Which should I choose?
– Choose Pre-order if you want to secure a specific volume in advance and are okay with paying immediately.
– Choose Auto-buy if you want future releases in a series to be purchased automatically on the release date without manual action.

Pre-order lets you purchase a specific eBook or audiobook before its release date.
Payment is processed immediately at the time of pre-order. Once the book is released, it becomes available to read automatically.

Auto-buy automatically purchases new releases in a series on your behalf on the release date.
Payment is not processed until the book is officially released. If you do not have enough Coins at that time, the Auto-buy purchase will fail, and the book will not be purchased automatically. Auto-buy can be turned off at any time before the release date.

Both Pre-order and Auto-buy:
– Accept Coins only as a payment method
– Are non-refundable due to the nature of digital content.
