Starting 2026-07-28 PT, if you migrate your account from the old BookWalker Global platform, you should receive an email during the migration process that contains a link to trigger the migration of your bookshelves. On our new platform, there is no one-to-one replica of the “bookshelf” feature, instead, you have “collections“. When you open the link in the email, your bookshelves will be converted into collections.
If you migrated before 2026-07-28 PT, or don’t have the email handy, you can also import your bookshelves by clicking on the banner:
If the banner is not visible, then our system has determined that you didn’t have any bookshelves to migrate. If you believe this is a mistake, please contact us.
In some rare cases, your bookshelf data might not have been migrated to our system. This is due to the Japan store having an old system for bookshelves that is still available on the website but no longer maintained. V2 bookshelves are what you have on the app, as well as with any new accounts, and are what we’ve migrated. We have requested this data be sent over to us from the Japanese site, and we’ll let you know when we get it.
Do I need to migrate again if I already migrated once?
